SEVEN ORDERS FOR THE K500 G3 - GERMAN ENGRAVERS LOOK TO STATE-OF-THE-ART ENGRAVING TECHNOLOGY

The HelioKlischograph K500 has always been a pioneer in terms of innovations, and the current K500 G3 model is no exception. The K500 G3 has clearly won over cylinder manufacturers in Germany. Over the past 12 months, they have ordered seven of the new engraving machines. All the machines are integrated in fully automated AutoCon production lines.

The HelioSprint III 12 kHz high-performance engraving system, Twain multi-head engraving, and the linear drive ensure by far the quickest cylinder production in the industry. At the same time, quality-oriented technologies such as XtremeEngraving, High Quality Hinting, CellEye, and SprintEasy ensure outstanding and reproducible engraving results.

When it launched the HelioKlischograph K500 in 1999, HELL created a milestone in the history of engraving machines. This first model of the K500 – subsequently called the K500 “Classic” – was made until 2004 and then replaced by the K500 “NT”. The third generation of the K500 is now being delivered in the shape of the K500 “G3”.

HelioControl 2.2 has now been released and this new software version significantly enhances the performance of HelioKlischograph K500 “Classic” models, which are now eight years old on average. The software update incorporates the latest developments and improvements, for example for Cell-Eye, XtremeEngraving, and sequential engravings.
