FISCHER & KRECKE LAUNCHES NEW FLEXPRESS 15-SERIES

At a special Open House event held from April 20 - 23 in its Technology Center in Bielefeld, northern Germany, Fischer & Krecke launched the FP 15-S, the first press in the new FlexPress 15-Series of compact, easy to operate, central impression flexographic presses providing proven Fischer & Krecke quality and unique reliability.

The theme of the April Open House was “The key to premium flexo”, and it is this theme which reflects what the new FlexPress 15-Series is all about: providing key solutions for a wide range of demanding printing requirements for flexible packaging materials.

The FP 15-S offers a printing width of 1250 mm (49”) and 880 mm (35”) repeat length. The new compact press requires minimum floor space and is designed to be easily operated. Ergonomic features include the adjacent positioning of the unwinder to the rewinder (‘face-to-face’ winder configuration) and location of the touch screen operating panel for maximum accessibility.

Other FP 15-S features include re-designed bridge and inter-colour dryers with exceptionally efficient drying performance and easy access for maintenance. A cantilever sleeve system contributes to the fast change-overs and easy handling typical of Fischer & Krecke presses. More importantly, the new model is smartGPS ready, the latest industry benchmark system for automatic registration and impression pre-setting. The FP 15-S is also fully supported by Bobst Group’s prestigious global customer service & support operations.

“We are very excited about the launch of the FlexPress 15-Series, which we believe provides just the right solutions for the flexible packaging industry today and in the future,” commented Ralph Schuck, Managing Director of Fischer & Krecke and Bobst Group’s Head of Product Line Flexo.

In conjunction with the Open House launch of the FP 15-S, Fischer & Krecke will inaugurate its new Technology Center in Bielefeld. TheFP 15-S will be fully demonstrated and guests will be able to witness the latest Fischer & Krecke flexo printing technology in action.
