Penta Seal pouch is a gusseted stand-up pouch with seal at each of the four vertical edges or corners and a vertical seal along the centre line. Recently Nichrome also won the IPMMI Machinery Design / Development / Innovation Recognition award for the year 2009 for the Penta seal pouch launched for first time in India in Vertical Form Fill Seal machine. This pouch is ideal for food segments like Rice and other grains, Tea, milk powder and other powders, etc.

Nichrome believes that a True packaging solution is an optimum combination of product to be packed, packaging machine and packing material. There are several factors such as the product behaviour and characteristics, the packing material, package style, pre and post packaging systems and so on. “Moreover, as a consumer package products (CPG) company you face several challenges. Your products must have high retail shelf visibility and life. Your packaging should be functional and economical. If you are launching new products you have to get them to market quickly to take advantage of the consumer trends you have spotted,” said a company spokesperson.

The reliable technology, right fit packaging solutions, accurate, flexible and sturdy packaging systems minimize the down time of the machines and the product and material wastage. Higher output, quick changeover, low power consumption and low maintenance enables lower cost of ownership of Nichrome machines. Nichrome has carefully documented the packaging system experience along with product domain knowledge to ensure this optimum packaging solution.
