Insignia has been exhibiting at AUSPACK PLUS for over a decade and considers the show to be its flagship trade exhibition. “Insignia chooses to focus on AUSPACK PLUS as we find it provides us with an audience who are a good fit with our business. The alternating schedule between Melbourne and Sydney also provides us with an opportunity to present to the different states,” said Andy Hecke, national sales and marketing manager.

“In our industry it is always a challenge to demonstrate our machinery to our potential customers due to their size and set up so AUSPACK PLUS is a great opportunity for customers to come along to see and touch our machines, in particularly our Domino print systems. In 2011 we are particularly excited about showcasing our continuation with Domino and their new products as well as introducing our revolutionary new Bixolon range of desktop and portable label printers.”

George Stam, managing director, Fallsdell Machinery, said the up-coming AUSPACK PLUS will give his company a great opportunity to showcase its high quality equipment and the overseas agencies that it represents, such as I.Holland, Flexicon, Dr Schleuniger, CI Electronics and Zoatec, to a wide range of different customers.

According to Glenn Woodworth, ITW Zip-Pak
Australia is participating in AUSPACK PLUS 2011 to showcase the range of over 500 different zips that ITW Zip-Pak manufactures across its seven plants.
“We run our zips on many different packaging machines and offer a range of zips to suit the package design, films used, machines packed on, product packed, method of filling, method of dispensing, the presentation required and the price level desired,” Woodworth said. ITW Zip-Pak will be showing a variety of new packages and zips from overseas markets and promoting its retrofitting systems division which can supply a kit to retrofit most packaging machines.

One company who has exhibited at every AUSPACK since inception is Fibre King. According to Mr Earle Roberts, Chief Executive Officer, "Fibre King has never missed an AUSPACK in the last twenty five years and we are really looking forward to being a part of the broader AUSPACK PLUS in 2011.
Exhibiting at AUSPACK PLUS in March next year is an important part of our overall marketing strategy. There is no doubt that Fibre King have benefited from the exposure gained through not only participation as an exhibitor but also through the APPMA Excellence Awards that we have been awarded over the years. Also, Fibre King maintains a leadership position in the Australian end of line packaging industry, and AUSPACK PLUS provides us with a regular opportunity to interact with our local client base. Our 2011 stand will focus on new Fibre King industry-specific innovations.

Mr Simon Martin, Sales Director, for DFC Packaging Group also announced that they have booked their stand for AUSPACK PLUS 2011. “DFC Packaging Group will be exhibiting a range of the latest technology in packaging films and packaging machinery. Included in our exhibition will be the ‘textured’ shrink sleeve; the insulate sleeve; oxy-biodegradable LDPE film and a number of examples of gravure printed shrink sleeves,” Mr Martin said.

“On hand for viewing will be a number of different packaging machines, including an automatic sleeve applicator and L Bar sealer. DFC Packaging Group provides low cost market entry opportunities through budget priced machinery or alternatively we offer a contract packaging option for promotional or market trialing.” He said.
